- • Ointment after fires: once a room fire is out, apply Ointment to restore burned-patient health.
- • Self-healing classes: Surgeon and Doctor regain Sanity on every heal — pair them with a Medicine-heavy loadout.
- • Wrong dose = death: when unsure, re-check the symptom rather than guessing.

How does the medicine system work in Animal Hospital?
After diagnosis you open your inventory and give the patient the remedy that matches their symptom. Each correct medicine clears the condition; the wrong medicine kills the patient, so you must read the symptom before dosing.
What does Antibiotics do, and when is it used?
Antibiotics is a surgery-only tool — it is not a free inventory medicine. It is used during Room 8 surgery procedures alongside the Scalpel, Scissors, Organ, and Transplant, not for routine bedside treatment.
What happens if you give the wrong medicine?
Giving the wrong treatment kills the patient and counts as a hospital death (unless they were an anomaly). Always match the symptom to the remedy table before administering.
Where do I get medicine?
