- First move: Stabilize them to move them into recovery.
- Why: Losing a Critical patient fails the rescue and hurts your score.
- Order: Critical before any comfort or low-stakes task.

Rescuing under timer pressure drains sanity. Keep a coffee on hand so you can top up between rushes and stay sharp for the next emergency.
5. Wheelchair Emergency Transport (Shift 3+)
300% faster fainted patient relocation
Added in the August 22 update, the Wheelchair is a free utility item located in the main lobby starting from Shift 3:
- Triple Movement Speed: Wheelchair transport moves fainted or collapsed patients to empty hospital beds 3x faster than carrying them on foot.
- Multi-Emergency Defense: Crucial during late-game shifts when multiple patients collapse simultaneously across distant wings.
- Return Requirement: Once the patient is placed on the bed, always wheel the chair back toward the lobby area for your next emergency.
6. Oxygen Crisis & Suffocation Protocol

When a gas leak triggers in Room 1 or a patient suffers acute respiratory failure:
- Pumping Triage: A staff member must continuously pump the bedside respirator (E). Tap rhythmically to avoid overheating jams.
- Never AFK:Leaving a suffocating patient for >8 seconds guarantees cardiac arrest and summons a hostile Ghost.
- Team Tag-Out: If the primary pumper is low on Sanity, swap out with a teammate drinking Coffee to maintain continuous airflow.
