Taser vs Gun

The Gun is the most decisive weapon in Animal Hospital. A single well-placed shot permanently removes the target, so you never have to worry about them recovering and threatening you again.

• Cost: $410 in-game, or 99 Robux if you prefer to unlock it instantly.
• Effect: One-shot kill that deletes the enemy from the shift.
• Best for: Late-game players and anyone who already owns it and wants guaranteed permanent control.

The downside is the price and that you must actually land the shot. If you miss or run dry, you are left exposed.

The X-Taser is the best early-game weapon. It stuns enemies instead of killing them, and because it is reusable you can fire it as many times as you need without spending more money.

• Cost: Only $150, making it the cheapest combat tool in the game.
• Effect: Stuns the target and can be reused endlessly.
• No aim needed: Great for new players who struggle with precision shots.
• Best for: Early value, crowd control, and players who cannot yet afford a Gun.

The Taser works on most supernatural threats but fails against two specific enemies that are immune to it:

• Taser works on: Ghost, Skinwalker, and Stalker.
• Taser does NOT work on: Black Bunny and Masked Figure (both immune).
• Gun: Permanently removes any target it can hit, including the immune enemies above.

If you are facing the Black Bunny or Masked Figure, do not waste time with a Taser. Switch to the Gun or another permanent counter.

Beginners: Take the Taser. At $150 it is a reusable, no-aim safety net that handles most early threats.

Late-game / Gun owners: Use the Gun when you want a target gone for good, especially against the Black Bunny or Masked Figure.

The smart long-term loadout is to carry both: Taser for everyday stuns, Gun for permanent removal of immune or high-priority threats.
